With the emerging need for Skill development, iatros institute of skill development aims to train youth from rural and urban India to achieve the country’s visions of “Skill India” and “Employment”. We have been conducting a high standard of academic programs through Regular/correspondence/distance education for the last 15 years. Iatros institute of skill development is the apex organization for development and co-ordination at National level for the programmes relating to vocational training including Women’s Vocational Training and Employment Services. Industrial Training Institutes are under the administrative and financial control of State Governments or Union Territory Administrations. IISD also operates Vocational Training Schemes in some of the specialized areas through field institutes under its direct control. Development of these programmes at national level, particularly in the area concerning common policies, common standards and procedures, training of instructors and trade testing is the responsibility of the IISD. The courses are conducted for higher skill up gradation through intensive skill oriented training by using the latest version of equipment and machinery used in industry. This institute is entrusted with the mission of producing systematically trained Craft Instructors to meet the huge demand of various industrial training institutions in our country. It conducts Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) and has been upgraded as a Centre of Excellence under World Bank assisted VTIP to train the Instructors of Government under Production & Manufacturing Sector. This institute has state of art infrastructure in many disciplines apart from highly qualified, well trained and highly motivated training faculty to provide training comparable to any international standards in Vocational training. The emphasis of training is to develop clear concepts and upgrade the skills. All diplomas, certificates are awarded autonomously by the Institution. For effective skill services now there is a need that entire program should be at the national level to be reviewed to move with new vocational developments.
